Intel: User Not Need High Performance VGA

One of Intel Corp. executive. stated in an interview that most users do not need high-performance graphics card.
Although it is clear that not all computer users play video games, the claim is recalling the phrase about 30 years ago that 640KB of RAM is enough for everyone.

"When people think about graphics, they imagine 3D war game that looked real," said Dadi Perlmutter, Intel Executive Vice President, on Cnet, as quoted VIVAnews, March 12, 2010. "We do not deny it, but it only took a little users," he said.
Perlmutter says, he thought, who really desired by most users is the media. This means that the required VGA is VGA which has just secukupunya performance.
For many users who need a capable graphics mendecode Blu-ray (MPEG4-AVC, MPEG4-MCV, VC1) and Adobe Flash video playback 10.1, something that was not properly presented by the integrated Intel graphics.
Perlmutter also admitted that the chip made by Intel does not offer a specific multimedia functionality. However, he denied that it is an important shortcomings.
"To be honest, in recent years, but this year, AMD with ATI has integrated graphics solutions are better than Intel," said Perlmutter.
